B Location of bottom pedestrian gate to exit the community. Gate is key locked. Key can be found on main villa key ring
C Location of main bus stop into town. Exit community
by bottom gate. Takes 10 mins to Playa Blanca centre.
Cost approx. €1.40. Currently runs every 30 mins @ 10
minutes and 40 minutes past the hour (times are on the
bus stop). Taxi return from town centre taxi rank circa €6
– ask for La Carabela and they will take you to main gate.

D Location of local shops and restaurants. Supermarket
has fresh bread all day, and the “Chicken Shop” next door
is excellent for a roasted chicken On Restaurants we
personally love Port Of Call (try the BBQ Ribs or the
steak!!) but have been into most and not had a bad meal
anywhere.
E Promenade which goes right into the centre of Playa
Blanca – circa 1 ¼ hr walk, lots of bars to stop at along
the way.

around)
H – largest beach in Playa Blanca, Playa Dorada. Bars and
restaurants in a centre behind the beach
I – Marina Rubicon. Bars, restaurants and shops plus a
morning market on Wednesdays and Saturdays
J – road out to Papagayo Nature Reserve and Beaches –
15 min drive from town centre. Fee of circa €5 to enter
the reserve.
The map may make the area look big but everything is
within 10/15 min drive and easily accessible on the bus
(circular around Playa Blanca and Marina) or in taxi’s.
